Sophie Boisvert

Competitive Instructor

Sophie Boisvert is a local dancer, teacher, and choreographer. In her youth, she trained in several dance styles at local competition studios. This training allowed her to win several awards at regional competitions as well as gain recognition and scholarships at larger conventions. In high school, she studied at Main Street School of Performing Arts, where she graduated in 2016 with an Honors Arts Endorsement in Dance.
Sophie recently graduated from the University of Minnesota where she got her degree in Dance and Media Studies. She has participated in countless performances at venues across the Twin Cities, and has appeared in music videos for local and international artists. Sophie has had the privilege of performing in works created by choreographers including Eko Supriyanto, Chris Schlichting, Michel Kouakou (Daara Dance), John Mark Hostetler, and many more. She has also choreographed and directed several music videos and dance films of her own. Sophie has been teaching dance for over five years and loves sharing knowledge with her students.
