Hannah Johnson
RECREATIONAL & COMPETITIVE INSTRUCTOR
Miss Hannah was born into the dance world and began dancing at 3 years old. She trained in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, pointe, modern, and musical theater. She started competing at the age of 8 and developed a passion for competition dance. She has been teaching competitive and recreational dance at SMDAC for 10 years.
Hannah has always loved performing and started theater in high school, where she was in 8 productions at Lakeville North High School, and 3 productions with The Peter Pan Project. She won a Spotlight award for her performance as Miss Flannery in Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2010. You can find her on stage in the summer when she performs with Eagan Summer Community Theatre.
Hannah went to college at the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a degree in Anthropology. While there she joined the student led Tap Dance Company called MinnesoTap which she danced with for 4 years. Hannah loves all forms of art from music, theatre, and dance to painting, drawing and crafts.
