SMDAC Spring Technique
SMDAC Spring Technique is a focused session designed to strengthen fundamentals and improve overall technique. Classes run on set dates throughout March, April and May, with options available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Choose the group and time that fits best, and register online to secure your place.

Creative Art Camp
Join our Creative Art Camp at South Metro Dance Arts Center, designed for Kindergarten–2nd Grade students who love to explore art and creativity. Sessions run June 8–11 (4-day camp) and July 13–14 (2-day camp) from 9:00am–12:00pm in the Art Room at SMDAC. Young artists will enjoy hands-on projects, colourful activities, and creative expression in a fun and supportive environment.

Gabby’s Dollhouse Camp

Join us at South Metro Dance Arts Center for a Gabby’s Dollhouse–themed camp your little one will love! On Tuesday, June 23rd from 10:00am–11:00am, children ages 3–5 are invited to step into a world of imagination, creativity, and movement.
This special camp includes themed arts and crafts along with fun, upbeat dancing in a positive and welcoming environment. It’s the perfect opportunity for young dancers to express themselves, build confidence, and make new friends while enjoying all the magic of Gabby’s Dollhouse.

Calling all little princesses! Join us at South Metro Dance Arts Center for a special PreK Princess Camp on Wednesday, June 24th from 10:00am–11:00am, designed just for children ages 3–5.
This enchanting camp includes themed arts and crafts along with fun, princess-inspired dancing in a warm and welcoming environment. It’s the perfect opportunity for young dancers to use their imagination, build confidence, and sparkle like royalty while making new friends.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Camp
Get ready to move, create, and perform at our high-energy K-Pop Demon Hunters Camp at South Metro Dance Arts Center! Designed for kids ages 5–7, this exciting themed camp will have dancers learning fun choreography to their favorite K-Pop songs while enjoying creative arts and crafts activities.

Company Line Audition Workshop
Join us for the Company Line Audition Workshop at South Metro Dance Arts Center. The workshop takes place June 24 for dancers ages 6–18, with participants assigned a 3-hour time block between 4:30–9:00pm to prepare for auditions. Official Company Line auditions will be held June 25, with dancers given an assigned audition slot between 10:00am–5:00pm. Register online at smdac.net to secure your place.

Bluey Dance Camp

Zootopia Camp
Step into the exciting world of Zootopia at South Metro Dance Arts Center! Join us for a fun-filled Zootopia Camp on Wednesday, July 1st from 10:00am–11:00am, designed for children ages 3–5.
This themed camp combines creative arts and crafts with energetic dancing in a positive, supportive environment. Young dancers will use their imagination, build confidence, and have a blast moving to fun music inspired by their favorite characters.

Sculpture Art Camp
Join our Sculpture Art Camp at South Metro Dance Arts Center, designed for students in 3rd–6th Grade who enjoy hands-on creativity. The camp runs June 29–July 2 from 9:00am–12:00pm, with registration required for all four days. Students will explore sculpting techniques and creative projects while building artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Intro to Competition Dance Classes
Experience what it’s like to be part of a competition dance team in our Intro to Competition classes at South Metro Dance Arts Center. Sessions run Tuesdays and Thursdays (July 7, 9, 14 & 16) with ages 5–6 from 5:00–6:00pm and ages 7–9 from 6:00–7:00pm. Classes are taught by Hannah and give dancers a fun introduction to teamwork, performance, and competition-style training.
Leaps & Turns Technique Classes
Improve your strength, control, and performance in our Leaps & Turns Technique classes at South Metro Dance Arts Center. These focused sessions will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (July 21st–23rd) and are designed to help dancers develop cleaner turns, higher leaps, and stronger overall technique.
Class times are organised by level, with Grade 1–3 from 11:00am–12:00pm, Grade 4–5 from 3:30–4:30pm, and Grade 6–12 from 4:30–5:45pm. All classes are taught by Philip, giving students the opportunity to refine their skills in a structured and supportive training environment.
Dance Team Prep Class
Prepare for dance team with our Dance Team Prep Class at South Metro Dance Arts Center. Classes run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (July 21–23) and focus on pom, jazz, and kick styles while helping dancers learn more about the dance team experience. Sessions are divided by level with Grades 1–3 from 1:00–2:00pm, Grades 4–5 from 2:15–3:15pm, and Middle School from 3:30–5:00pm, and are taught by Lindsey.
Small Group Combo & Technique Classes
Join our Small Group Combo & Technique classes at South Metro Dance Arts Center, designed to help dancers refine their technique and performance skills in a focused, supportive environment. Classes will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (July 28th–30th) with sessions tailored for different age groups: Grade 1–3 from 1–2pm, Middle School from 2–3pm, and Grade 4–5 from 3–4pm.
With a maximum of 10 dancers per class, students receive more personalised attention to strengthen their technique, build confidence, and improve their dance combinations. All sessions are taught by Lindsey.
Contemporary Movement Classes
Explore expression and technique in our Contemporary Movement classes at South Metro Dance Arts Center. Held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (July 28–30), these sessions focus on fluid movement, musicality, and contemporary dance technique. Classes are divided by level with Grades 1–3 from 11:00am–12:00pm, Grades 4–5 from 2:00–3:00pm, and Middle School from 3:00–4:15pm, and are taught by Philip.
Acro for Dancers
Build strength, flexibility, and control in our Acro for Dancers classes at South Metro Dance Arts Center. Sessions run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (July 28–30) and combine acrobatic skills with dance technique. Classes are grouped by level with Grades 1–3 from 12:00–1:00pm, Grades 4–5 from 1:00–2:00pm, and Middle School from 4:15–5:15pm, and are taught by Philip.

Recreational Schedule
- Dancers entering Preschool, Age 3-4, through Kindergarten will explore Ballet, Tap and Creative Movement. Students will develop basic dance skills by participating in social, physical and creative activities, all in a fun and enriching environment!
- Dancers entering 1st Grade will explore Ballet, Jazz and Tap combination classes. These classes focus on further developing skills in these three styles of dance while also working on building strength and flexibility.
- Dancers entering 2nd-5th Grade are eligible for any of our 2nd-5th grade classes that correspond with their grade. We have a variety of styles available: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater & Tap. Classes are offered in a variety of combinations.
- Dancers entering 6th-12th Grade are eligible for any of our 6th-12th grade classes that correspond with their grade. We have a variety of styles available: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical & Tap.
- Dancers in 5th grade and younger classes will have the opportunity to perform in our Jenni Buth Memorial Show in February/March.
- All recreational dancers will have the opportunity to perform in our Memorial Show in March.
Preschool Ballet & Tap
Introduce your little ones to the magical world of dance with our Preschool Ballet & Tap classes! Our classes are specially designed to nurture your child’s love for movement while building essential coordination and rhythm skills.
