Sophie Charnstrom
Competitive Instructor
Sophie is originally from New Prague, Minnesota, where she spent 16 years training and competing at a local dance studio. Her dance background includes extensive training in ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, tap, pointe, and hip-hop. Over the years, she has performed in a wide range of settings, including solos, duets, trios, small and large groups, lines, and full-scale productions.
Her performance experience has taken her beyond the studio, including dancing at Disney World and performing alongside DNCE during the Orange Bowl halftime show. She has also had the opportunity to take master classes with renowned industry professionals such as the Rockettes, Talia Favia, Richard Hinds, Mandy Moore, Tony Coppola, and many others.
Sophie is now in her sixth season as a dance instructor and choreographer. Throughout her teaching career, she has received numerous accolades, including multiple choreography and creative concept awards. Outside of dance, she is pursuing a degree in interior design with a minor in architecture at the University of Minnesota.
